Dell XPS M1710Dell today announced that it has updated the XPS M1710 gaming notebook, by allowing users to overclock its Core 2 Duo (Merom) processor and adding optional new NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics card with 512MB of dedicated memory.

Dell also added XPS LightFX technology to synchronize the system lights with supported music or games.

The 17.1-inch widescreen Dell XPS M1710 is available immediately worldwide starting at $2299 with Intel’s Core 2 Duo T7200 processor and 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics, and $3,498 with Core 2 Duo T7600G processor and GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics.
