Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced the availability of the Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010 12.1 inch laptop PC. It weights 2.2 pounds and it’s only ¾ of an inch thick.The Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010 notebook, capable of running Windows Vista, is powered by the Intel Core Solo ULV processor.
With a wide-range of connectivity options including Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (Tri-Mode 802.11a/b/g) with VoIP capabilities, the LifeBook Q2010 notebook delivers reliable connectivity. Integrated Bluetooth v2.0 ensures easy data synchronization with different devices.
Anticipating the desire to travel with the lightest 12-inch laptop on the market, the Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010 is rich with security features offering a combination of physical hardware and software including Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 and a built-in biometric fingerprint sensor. A variety of battery options are available including a three-cell battery for the lightest weight. Mobile professionals requiring longer battery life can select the optional 6-cell battery offering up to 7 hours of operation or the 4-cell battery offering up to 3.75 hours.
The Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010, priced starting at $1,999 for a base configuration is immediately available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets .
