Fujitsu has released recently the LifeBook A1110, a 15.4-inch consumer oriented notebook that features a swappable lid.
“Interchangeable by simply snapping the lids onto the LCD cover, consumers can express themselves with an eye-catching green mod labyrinth, bright pink design with butterflies, or a cool blue Victorian print,” Fujitsu says.
The Fujitsu LifeBook A1110 is based on Intel Centrino 2 technology and comes with the Core 2 Duo P7350 or T5800 processor, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner. Its display has a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels.
The laptop includes a 1.3-megapixel web camera, 802.11n wireless module, Ethernet LAN port, 56K modem, and Bluetooth, as well as three USB ports, ExpressCard and SD Card slots, and a VGA output.
There are also removable dust filter on notebook’s ventilation hole and spill resistant keyboard.
The Windows Vista Home Premium powered system weighs around 6.3 pounds with a six-cell battery, that is claimed to last up to 2 hours and 30 minutes on a single charge.
The LifeBook A1110 starts at $799 at Fujitsu.com. The green cover ships standard with the laptop, while the pink and blue lids are available for $19.95 each.
