Fujitsu LifeBook A3110 laptop powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56 processor at 1.8GHz was announced today. The 15.4 Crystal View widescreen LifeBook A3110 comes with 2 GB of main DDR2 memory, 120 GB PATA hard drive spinning at 4200rpm and a dual-layer multi-format DVD burner. The new notebook is based on ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 chipset providing integrated graphics with up to 256MB of shared memory.
Fujitsu LifeBook A3110 has an integrated Atheros Super AG built-in wireless 802.11a/b/g card, an integrated Bluetooth wireless, a 56K modem and a Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Regarding ports and slots, the A3110 LifeBook incorporates 3 USB ports, an IEEE 1394, a Memory Stick/SD/xD slot, a PC Card slot, and an ExpressCard slot. The new Fujitsu’s laptop has integrated fingerprint sensor, which also works as a scroll button. It features spill resistant 87-key full-size keyboard.
The battery life of the A3110 LifeBook with a standard 4-cell lithium-ion unit lasts for up to 75 minutes.
The Fujitsu A3110 comes with Windows XP Media Center Edition or XP Professional Edition and is Windows Vista Capable.
The new LifeBook A3110 laptop is priced starting at $ 1,399 with $100 mail-in rebate for a base configuration. It is available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets.
