Fujitsu LifeBook N6470Fujitsu’s LifeBook N6470 17-inch entertainment laptop, featuring the new Intel Core 2 Duo “Penryn” 45nm processor, is now available.

The LifeBook N6470 comes with the Core 2 Duo “Penryn” T8100 at 2.1GHz or T8300 2.4GHz CPU, depending on customer’s choice. The notebook has the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 dedicated video card, which manages a 1440-by-900 pixel display. This system provides up to 600GB of hard drive storage using two HDDs and supports up to 4GB of system memory. Optionally, purchasers can choose the 1GB Intel Turbo Memory for better system responsiveness. Regarding optical drive, there are Blu-Ray or DVD burner options.

The N6470 includes the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (802.11 a/b/g/draft n) module, a Gigabit Ethernet connection, and a 56k modem.

Along with two stereo speakers and a subwoofer, the laptop has HDMI, VGA and S-Video outputs, both PCMCIA and ExpressCard slots, five USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, Firewire port and a fingerprint reader.

The Fujitsu LifeBook N6470, which has a keyboard with a numeric pad, weighs approximately 10.58 pounds with a six-cell battery. According to the notebook’s specifications, it provides up to one hour of battery life.

The N6470 can be purchased through Fujitsu’s online store. It starts at $1,499.
