Fujitsu has announced the LifeBook T580 ultraportable convertible laptop, featuring a 10.1-inch multitouch display and an Intel ultra-low voltage processor.
The rotatable LED-backlight screen of the LifeBook T580 supports multiple touch gestures with up to 4 fingers at the same time, as well as pen input, while an integrated light-sensitive sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display according to the ambient light.
The 1.4-kg tablet PC is based on Intel’s Core i3 and i5 ULV CPUs and Windows 7 Professional OS. It optionally supports 3G/UMTS and GPS technologies and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB slots, SD card and SmartCard readers, a webcam, fingerprint reader, and HDMI and VGA outputs.
Fujitsu’s LifeBook T580 will be available worldwide in late November 2010 and can be pre-ordered in the EMEA region from October 1, 2010.
There’s no word on pricing.
