Along with the A1110, Fujitsu has released the LifeBook A6220 15.4-inch desktop replacement (DTR) laptop with swappable tartan patterned color lids and the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor technology.
According to the PC maker, users can choose indigo, red, or gold pattern and change lids by simply snapping them onto the LCD cover.
The Fujitsu LifeBook A6220 comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 or P8600 processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 128MB dedicated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner, Blu-Ray Combo drive, or Blu-Ray burner, depending on customers choice. The display has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The laptop includes optional 1.3MP web camera and fingerprint reader, 802.11n wireless module, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, and optional Wireless USB (UWB) functionality, as well as four USB ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, an eSATA port, Firewire, and ExpressCard, PC Card, and Memory Stick/SD Card slots.
There are also removable dust filter on notebook’s vent and spill resistant keyboard.
The laptop runs Windows Vista Home Premium OS and weighs approximately 6.61 to 6.39 lbs, depending on battery and configuration. The default battery has 8-cells and provides up to 3 hours of run time between charges.
The LifeBook A6220 starts at $1,299 at the Fujitsu website. The tartan indigo design cover ships standard with the notebook. The tartan red and gold lids are available for $19.95 each.
