Gateway LT1004U Netbook Silently Launched

Gateway LT1004UOffice Depot now offers the new Gateway LT1004U 8.9-inch netbook, Engadget reports.

The 2.2-pound LT1004U features the Intel Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and Windows XP Home operating system.

According to the product specifications, the first Gateway-branded netbook also incorporates a built-in web camera, stereo speakers, Wireless-G networking, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader. The “Ultrabright” display has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

The Gateway LT1004U is priced at $379.
