Gateway has unveiled the LT21 Series netbook, featuring a 10.1-inch display and the latest Intel Atom platform.
Weighing 2.76 pounds, the Gateway LT21 includes the Atom N450 1.66GHz processor and the GMA 3150 graphics, a 160GB or 250GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP Home OS, and a 6-cell battery for “up to ten hours” of usage.
Its LED-backlit screen has a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels.
The netbook also features a built-in webcam and microphone, stereo speakers, a 93 percent full-size keyboard and a multi-gesture touchpad, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a multi-in-1 card reader, and a VGA output.
Case color choices include red, black and white.
The Gateway LT21 will be available this month at leading retailers in the US for around $300.
