Upon opening the notebook, the dramatic edge-to-edge glass display and seamless transitions between materials and design elements provide a luxurious aesthetic. The elegant burgundy model has a deep, rich finish, a brushed metal palm rest and a black polished keyboard surround. The black model is polished to a deep, jet black shine and has a synthetic leather palm rest and black polished keyboard surround.”

Besides the offered MC7801u model, Gateway will launch the MC7803u ($999.99) that includes the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512MB dedicated video card instead of the integrated GPU.
