Gigabyte has announced its U60 ultra-mobile PC (UMPC) at ongoing CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany.
Gigabyte U60 UMPC has 6.5-inch screen and sliding QWERTY keyboard and is powered by the VIA C7-M processor. According to PMP Today, The U60 features USB ports, a VGA port, Card reader, a built-in Web camera and Microphone. It supports up to 80GB 1.8-inch hard drive. The Gigabyte U60 weighs around 1.6 pounds and its battery life should be around 4 hours.
The mass production of Gigabyte U60 will start in May. It will be priced under $1000 reportedly.
