Intel Montevina-Based HP PavilionHP today introduced 16 new notebook PCs for consumers and business users. The newly designed laptop series feature models based on the latest mobile platforms - Intel Centrino 2 “Montevina” and AMD “Puma”.

The consumer-oriented laptop lineup includes the HP Pavilion dv4, dv5, and dv7 Entertainment Notebook PCs with the new liquid-metallic HP Imprint 2 surface design, as well as the Compaq Presario CQ45, CQ40 and CQ50 Series. Business customers are going to be offered with 10 new mobile systems, including the ruggedized HP EliteBook, and the redesigned “b”-series and “s”-series.

Shipping dates for the new laptops will vary by region and are expected to begin in July, according to HP.
