Hewlett-Packard released today the updated netbook lineup, including the HP Mini 210, Mini 2102, and Mini 5102, all with 10.1-inch displays and the Intel Atom N450 or N470 processors.
The HP Mini 210 is a consumer netbook offered in black, silver, blue, and red. The black-only Mini 2102 is aimed at business users, but has the same specifications as the 210.
HP’s Mini 5102 will be available as a standard and a multitouch-screen netbook. It has an anodized-aluminum display enclosure with a choice of black, red or blue brushed finishes, and an optional handle.
Along with the Atom N450 1.66GHz and N470 1.83GHz CPUs, the new netbooks include 1GB or 2GB of RAM, depending on model, up to 320GB of hard drive space, an optional HD video decoder, optional mobile broadband connectivity and GPS, WiFi, web camera and microphone, and Windows 7 or XP OS.
The HP 210 and 2102 come with a 3- or 6-cell battery, whereas the 5102 ships with either a 4- or 6-cell unit.
The Mini 210 and 2102 are expected to be available in the United States tomorrow with a starting price of $299 and $329 respectively. The Mini 5102 is expected to be available in the US this month with a base price of $399.
