Hewlett-Packard has launched the HP Pavilion dv3t, their new 13.3-inch entertainment notebook.
Unlike the AMD-powered dv3z, the Pavilion dv3t is based on Intel’s technology and features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics or the NVIDIA GeForce G 105M 512MB dedicated GPU, as well as up to 8G of DDR2 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray Combo optical drive.
The display has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and uses LED backlight.
The dv3t also includes a built-in web camera, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, HDMI and VGA outputs, optional fingerprint reader, Wireless-G or -N connectivity, optional Bluetooth, optional mobile broadband module for AT&T or Verizon network, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports (3rd shared with eSATA port), an ExpressCard slot, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.
HP’s new laptop weighs around 4.93 pounds with a 6-cell battery and optionally features a backlight keyboard.
Color choices are Espresso Black and Moonlight White.
The HP Pavilion dv3t runs Windows Vista OS and has a base price of 798.99 at the Hewlett-Packard online store.
