The HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition series is Hewlett-Packard’s new 15.6-inch notebook.

The Quad Edition includes the Nvidia GeForce GT 230M 1GB video card, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive. The 15.6″ display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and uses LED backlight.
The new entertainment laptop sports an optionally integrated HDTV hybrid tuner, a web camera with microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, HDMI and VGA outputs, G or N wireless LAN, an Ethernet port, optional Bluetooth and 56k modem, four USB ports (4th shared with eSATA port), an ExpressCard slot, a 5-in-1 media card reader, a Firewire port on select models, an expansion connector, and an optional fingerprint reader.
HP’s dv6t Quad weighs 6.34 pounds with the standard 6-cell battery. It has a “liquid metallic” chassis and comes in Espresso Black or Moonlight White color.
The notebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional and starts at $999.99 at the official HP store.
