Hewlett-Packard has recently launched the HP Pavilion G50, a 15.4-inch notebook PC for budget-minded consumers.
The available pre-configured G50 models feature Intel’s Pentium T3200 dual core processor, the GMA 4500M integrated graphics, up to 250GB of hard drive space, 2GB or 3GB of DDR2 RAM, and a DVD burner. The display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
One of the models – the Pavilion G50-124NR – additionally includes a web camera.
The HP G50 features 802.11b/g wireless connection, an Ethernet LAN port, and a 56K modem, as well as HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader. However, the notebook doesn’t have the ExpressCard or PC Card slot.
With a standard 6-cell battery, the laptop weighs 6.5 pounds.
It runs Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.
The most affordable HP G50 model is the G50-108NR, priced at $549.99.

Hewlett-Packard also has the G60 in its laptop lineup. It features a 15.6-inch 1366×768 display and AMD’s processor. In addition, the 17-inch G70 is available for pre-order at Buy.com.
