The HP Pavilion g6-2278dx is one of the latest g6-series 15.6-inch notebook configurations. The budget laptop, priced at $430, is made of black glossy plastics. Under the hood, it sports the AMD A8-4500M “Piledriver” quad-core processor with Radeon HD 7640 integrated graphics, 4GB of RAM, and a 640GB hard drive. The CPU is good enough for effortless completing of daily computing tasks, such as web surfing and office productivity.
The notebook has a chiclet keyboard and spacious trackpad with physical click buttons. On the right side, the laptop houses a DVD burner, USB, and power jack.
On the left, there are VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, two USBs, audio jacks, and a memory card reader.

For some reason, another model, the g6-2238dx, has literally the same specifications and design as the g6-2278dx. However, the 2238dx is no longer available, so the 2278dx appears to be its replacement.
