Hewlett-Packard today announced the HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC, featuring AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor and a 12.1-inch WXGA touch-screen display (1280 x 800) with 180° rotation, at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The HP tx1000 tablet incorporates an integrated NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 graphics with up to 128MB of shared memory, a 2GB main memory, a 160GB SATA hard drive spinning at 5400rpm and a DVD burner.
Regarding Internet and connectivity, Pavilion tx1000 has wireless and Gigabit Ethernet connections, and a 56k modem.
Weighing 4.23 pounds and coated with HP Imprint Finish, the tx1000 comes with three USB ports, VGA out and TV out (S-video), an ExpressCard slot, as same as with HP Webcam with integrated microphone and a finger print reader.
HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC will ship with Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled.
