Hypersonic PC has announced the Avenger AG2 notebook, a 12.1-inch ultraportable based on Intel’s Centrino technology.
The Avenger AG2 is available in five colors: black, white, blue, pink and yellow. It can be configured with an 45nm Intel “Penryn” T8100, T8300, or T9300 processor, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, and up to 250GB hard drive. Optionally, customers can choose a 64GB solid state drive instead of the HDD. This sub-notebook has a built-in optical drive. The laptop’s 12.1″ widescreen 1280×800 display is managed by the Intel GMA X3100 integrated GPU.
Regarding networking and connectivity, the AG2 sports Intel PRO/WIRELESS 4965AGN option, Bluetooth option, built-in 56K modem, and Gigabit Ethernet port.
The ultraportable features an embedded 1.3-megapixel web camera, three USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, 7-in-1 media card reader, VGA and S/PDIF outputs, and a Firewire port.
The Avenger AG2 weighs around 4.14 pounds and runs Windows Vista or Windows XP operating system.
When configured without OS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, the AG2 has a base price of $ 1,054.
