This is the leaked Intel Ivy Bridge release date slide.
The first processor models from the 3rd Generation Intel Core family, codenamed “Ivy Bridge”, will be launched on April 29th.
A leaked presentation slide published on donanimhaber.com lists April 29th as the launch timing for some Ivy Bridge i7 and i5 desktop processors. There’s no word on any laptop CPU on the slide, but we assume that at least some of the notebook chips will be released then. Intel is expected to unveil higher-end quad-core mobile processors first, while mid-range and lower-end parts are rumored to come in summer.
On the desktop front, select i5 chips will be launched on June 3rd, while Core i3 and Pentium Ivy Bridge-based CPUs will come this “holiday”. The same launch pattern will be likely applied to laptop processors as well.
