Intel Metro NotebookThe AeroXperience website has published a video of the Intel’s Metro Notebook concept, introduced in April at Intel Developer Forum in Beijing.

The Metro laptop prototype is only 0.7-inch thick and weighs 2.2 pounds. This notebook concept features a secondary “Eink” display for reading email, calendar entries, eBooks, etc. The video shows you can also use Windows Media Player or play games via Eink.

Intel Metro Notebook - eInk DisplayAccording to earlier reports, the concept model is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and has an antenna, which is able to switch between the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and WiMAX links.

“Unfortunately, the representative walking the reporter through the laptop confirms that this is purely a concept device, and is really only aimed at encouraging OEMs to develop similar models,” Engadget reports.
