Intel’s ‘Pineview’, company’s next-gen Atom processor for small and affordable PCs, will hit the market in Q3 2009, Japanese website PCWatch reports.
Pineview is going to integrate a graphics core and memory manager into the chip package, according to PCWatch.
“Little is known about Pineview, but we can say that it will be made available in single- and dual-core versions as per Diamondville. Again, both will use HyperThreading technology to up the number of cores the operating system sees to two and four, respectively,” RegHardware explains.
