Lenovo Updates IdeaPad Line with New Laptops, Netbooks

Lenovo IdeaPad s10-3tLenovo announced today the new IdeaPad laptops: the S10-3t (tablet) and S10-3 netbooks, the multimedia-oriented Y460 and Y560, the G460 and G560 value-line series, and V460 and V360 for the SOHO market.

The S10-3t is a convertible netbook tablet with a 10.1-inch multitouch capacitive screen, while the S10-3 is a standard 10.1″ netbook. Both are based on Intel’s Pine Trail M platform.

The IdeaPad Y460 and Y560, based on the new Intel Core processors, feature 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays respectively, as well as Enhanced Experience RapidDrive technology, which combines SSD and HDD storage for better performance.

Lenovo’s 14″ G460 and 15.6″ G560 are mainstream notebooks, balancing between functionality and affordability.

Finally, the IdeaPad V360 13.3-inch and IdeaPad V460 14-inch laptops are designed for small office and home-based businesses and include switchable integrated/dedicated graphics.

The Y460, Y560, G460, G560, V360, and V460 are based on Intel’s latest Core processors.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 and S10-3t netbooks, and the Lenovo G460 and G560 laptops will be available this month. Manufacturer suggested retail pricing (MSRP) for models start at $349.99 for the IdeaPad S10-3, $499.99 for the S10-3t and $699.99 for the Lenovo G460 and IdeaPad G560. The IdeaPad Y460 laptop will be available beginning in February for a base price of $849.99. The IdeaPad Y560 and V460 will be available beginning in March 2010 starting at $849.99 and $749.99, respectively. The IdeaPad V360 laptop will be available beginning in May 2010 for a starting price of $749.99.
