Lenovo has released the IdeaPad U450p, a 14-inch thin-and-light notebook for consumers.
The 4.6-pound U450p features the Intel Pentium SU2700 1.30GHz or the Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4GHz processor, the 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, a DVD burner, and a 6-cell battery for “up to 6 hours” of runtime on a single charge.
The 14.0″ 1366×768 glossy display uses LED backlight.
Lenovo’s new notebook also sports a built-in 1.3MP web camera and a microphone, stereo speakers, Dolby Home Sound Room support, WiFi, Gigabit LAN, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and HDMI and VGA outputs.
The U450p comes in black color with square weave texture on its lid.
It runs Windows Vista Home Premium OS and has a starting price of $799 at Lenovo.com.
