ColorWare offered the Lenovo ThinkPad T60p laptops coated with the company’s X2 scratch resistant liquid plastic coating, available in 28 different colors.
With starting price of $2,950, the colored 15.4-inch widescreen Thinkpad T60p notebooks feature Core 2 Duo processors, 1GB of main memory, 100GB SATA hard drive, DVD burner, wireless connection and ATI Mobility Fire GL V5250 graphics.
The X2 coating is applied to the laptops and other products in a custom atmospheric chamber in its liquid form, and then cured with ultra violet light to achieve scratch resistance and clarity, according to ColorWare.
