DolbyDolby Laboratories today announced that Lenovo has launched the Tianyi F50, its first notebook to feature Dolby Home Theater that offer advanced home theater audio features and premium surround sound experiences. Lenovo Tianyi F50 owners can also enjoy a vast library of music and more than 17,400 films worldwide that use Dolby technologies.

According to the press release, the multiple Dolby technologies within the Lenovo Tianyi F50 address a broad spectrum of lifestyle needs and listening situations. “For listeners who enjoy music or movies late at night, the Lenovo Tianyi F50 offers virtual surround sound over any set of headphones. For listeners at home who need a simple, inexpensive way to enhance their entertainment, the Lenovo Tianyi F50 delivers virtual surround sound using just two speakers. For people with entertainment systems, the Lenovo Tianyi F50 can easily be integrated with a home theater or audio/video receiver to deliver 5.1 channels of audio through speakers,” the press release says.

Currently there is no info about other Lenovo Tianyi F50 specifications, as same as about it price and U.S. availability.
