Lenovo introduced the new Y notebook series for the Asia-Pacific region. The Lenovo Y300 comes with 13-inch widescreen and is claimed to use a facial recognition technology via the built-in webcam, instead of a traditional fingerprint reader, while the 14-inch widescreen model is called Y400. It stands out with its built-in subwoofer.
Both laptops feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics cards.
The new Lenovo Y laptops will be available for Asia-Pacific in mid-December. There is no info on its price and North American availability.
