Logitech announced that its Logitech VX Revolution laptop mouse received a Good Design Award 2006, sponsored by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
Smaller in size than its sibling desktop MX Revolution mouse, Logitech VX Revolution includes a slot to store the 2.4 GHz micro-receiver, making it more portable. It also features hyper-fast scrolling with the MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel. The base of the comfortable to use VX Revolution mouse features a switch that can shift the MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel from free-spin mode to click-to-click mode. The mouse also includes a zoom slider for zooming in and out of open documents and photos, the Logitech’s press release says.
“Logitech VX Revolution offers a natural fit for many hand sizes without creating stress on the hand, even after long hours of use. The way it controls scrolling is developed so intelligently,” the Good Design jury reported.
Another four company’s products received a Good Design Award 2006. They are Logitech MX Revolution desktop PC mouse, the Logitech Z-10 Interactive 2.0 Speakers, the Logitech QuickCam Ultra Visionwebcam and the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3200 Laser keyboard-and-mouse combination.
