Microsoft announced today the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000.
The Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 is designed to work with Bluetooth ready computers. It does not need a transceiver, and features the High Definition Laser Technology for “smoother tracking, more responsiveness and better precision”, according to Microsoft.
The shape of the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 is based on the “No. 1 best-selling mouse”, the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000. It also uses the High Definition Laser Technology. The 7000’s “soft-grip sides and an ergonomic, ambidextrous design put comfort in the palm of users’ hands”, the press release says.
The Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 will be widely available in September 2007 and the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 in October 2007 — each for an estimated retail price of $79.90.
[…] In addition to the Bluetooth 5000 and the Wireless 7000 laptop mice, Microsoft introduced the Mobile Memory Mouse 8000, which is “the industry’s first rechargeable notebook mouse with 1GB of flash memory built into the transceiver”. […]
