MSI Barebone Notebooks Now Support Merom

MSI listed on its USA web site four barebone notebooks supporting the latest Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile (Merom) processors – the 14-inch widescreen MS-141214, the 15.4-inch widescreen MS-1034 and the 17-inch widescreen MS-171614 and MS-171544 models.

Although some online computer resellers also list the four MSI laptops as supporting Core 2 Duo, currently there is only option to purchase these notebooks with Core Duo (Yonah) processor.

Interesting is that RK Computers on its online store lists 12.1-inch widescreen MSI MS-1057 notebook with Core 2 Duo, but it is currently also available only with Core Duo CPU. On the official MSI site the MS-1057 isn’t mentioned as supporting Intel’s Merom.
