As Laptopping says, info on availability and pricing was unknown or not available at time of publication. According to MSI Marketing (Europe), it is doubtful that the GE700 specified in the Laptopping article will be released for MSI-branded distribution in North American and parts of Europe at this time.

There are however two major product line introductions appropriate for the enthusiast entertainment and gaming market for MSI-branded product in the two geographies mentioned between now and beginning of Q4 2010.

It appears that one line will be DX 11 compliant and may include AMD Mobility Phenom II notebook dual and quad CPU’s (announced for May 2010 release by AMD) and AMD’s ATI Mobility Radeon HD 58XX and 57XX series GPU’s (already released).

It appears that a second line may include some configuration of Intel mobile i3/5/7 CPU’s (already released) and Nvidia’s first DX11 compliant mobile “Fermi” GPU (not yet released with no scheduled release dates for the mobile market yet).

Though Nvidia has announced the release of the first pair of DX 11 GPU’s for March / April 2010, the so-called GTX 470 and 480 are strictly desktop GPU’s. Nvidiia has not yet made any public statements about the names or dates of their first DX 11 compliant GPU’s for the mobile market.
