Along with the PR601, MSI today announced the PR201 12.1-inch ultraportable laptop featuring the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor technology.
The 4-pound MSI PR201 includes the new Core 2 Duo 45-nanometer CPU, Intel’s GMA X4500 integrated graphics managing the 1280×800 widescreen display, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner.
The PR201 features a built-in 2MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, Gigabit Ethernet, optional Bluetooth, and a 56k modem. There are also HDMI and VGA outputs, 3 USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and 3-in-1 media card reader.
MSI’s ultraportable runs Windows Vista Business OS.
There is no information on availability date and pricing.
Oh wow… those specs are great for the physical size of this one… since it’s MSI, could this be mid-hundreds maybe? I really want an affordable UMPC-like device, but they’re all so underpowered…
