MSI Wind U100-035LAThe MSI Wind U100-035LA 10-inch Intel Atom-based netbook is now in stock at NewEgg and costs $499.99.

The first Wind model available in the United States includes the Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 3-cell battery, black chassis, and Windows XP Home operating system. This 2.3-pound ultraportable has a 1024 x 600 display with LED backlight.

The MSI Wind U100 also features a 1.3-megapixel web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11b/g wireless and Ethernet LAN connections, Bluetooth, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and VGA output.

MSI’s Wind mini-laptop is also expected to be available with Linux OS preinstalled.

I bought the msi wind and was told it would come with an overclocking feature.. however when I checked, I can only UNDER clock it…!
