MSI has announced the Wind U100 Plus 10-inch netbook, which is an updated version of the standard U100.
The MSI Wind U100 Plus includes the Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor instead of the Atom N270 1.6GHz in the older U100, support for up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive with Windows XP Home preloaded, the GMA 950 integrated graphics, and a 3- or 6-cell battery.
The 10″ LED backlight display has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.
The U100 Plus also sports a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.
Besides the standard Wind U100 colors - Imperial Black, Angelic White and Regal Red - the U100 Plus includes two brand new color choices - Rose Champagne and Metallic Blue.
The netbook weighs around 2.2 pounds with a 3-cell battery.
