The MSI Wind12 U200 is a new 12.1-inch ultraportable laptop, based on the Intel CULV platform.
Weighing around 2.86 pounds with its 3-cell battery, the Wind12 U200 features the Intel 723 or SU3500 ultra-low voltage processor, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, a battery life of “up to 6.5 hours” with the 6-cell unit, and Windows Vista Home Premium. The system doesn’t include a built-in optical drive.
The display has a 1366×768-pixel resolution and uses LED backlight.
Other features include a new ergonomic keyboard with larger keys, a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, HDMI and VGA outputs, 802.11n WiFi, a Gigabit LAN port, optional Bluetooth, three USB ports, and a 4-in-1 media card reader.
MSI’s ultraportable will be available in black and white colors.
U200′s pricing and arrival date are not yet available. However, an AMD-powered version – the Wind(12) U210 – can be pre-ordered now.
