The MSI Wind12 U230 12.1-inch AMD-powered ultraportable, which replaces the Wind12 U210, is available now in the United States.
Newegg.com offers the U230 models that include the AMD Athlon Neo (in U230-033US) or AMD Athlon Neo X2 (in U230-040US) processor, the integrated ATI Radeon HD3200 GPU, 2GB of DDR2 memory expandable up to 4GB, 250GB (U230-033US) or 320GB (U230-040US) of hard disk space with Windows 7 Home Premium OS pre-installed, and a 6-cell battery.
The netbook’s glossy display with LED backlight has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The Wind12 U230 also includes a 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and VGA ports, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 card reader, and MSI’s EDS (Ergonomic De-stress) keyboard “with keys that are 51% larger than those on a standard keyboard”.
MSI’s Wind12 U230-033US and U230-040US are priced at $429.99 and $479.99, respectively.
