NASCAR line of desktop and laptop computers will be introduced this weekend, said Tim Martin, senior manager for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) North American Sponsorship Activation. This announcement comes within Star Gazette’s report that AMD will be the title sponsor of the Sunday’s NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International.
Although details about new NASCAR notebooks and desktops were not published yet, we assume that these PCs will be powered by AMD’s processors, as same as last year’s NASCAR Cisnet C80 laptop model (on the picture).
“We think of ourselves as technology partners, not just logo slappers,” said Martin speaking about AMD’s cooperation with NASCAR.
