GeForce GT 130MNVIDIA announced today the new GeForce 100M graphics chip series, designed for use in mainstream laptops.

The 100M mobile GPUs currently include the GeForce G105M, the GeForce G110M, and the GeForce GT 130M.

“The three new GeForce 100M Series GPUs each represent a significant performance increase in their respective segments. The GeForce G105M is over 55% faster than the previous NVDIA product in its segment (9200M GE), while the GeForce G110M is 35% faster than NVIDIA’s previous mainstream GPU (9300M GS). The GeForce GT 130M is around 17% faster than its predecessor (9600M GT),” the company’s press release says.

The 100M Series will be available in Lenovo’s upcoming IdeaPad laptops which are expected to ship in March.
