Ultrabooks are scheduled to hit the market next month but select online retailers have already revealed prices for some of these ultrathin Intel-based laptops, and are accepting pre-orders for some of them.

One of the five known ultrabooks, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s, starts at $1,177.45 at Pro Vantage and includes the Core i5-2467 CPU and a 128GB solid state drive. More expensive models are those with faster Core i7-2677M CPUs, 256GB SSD, and price tags slightly lower than $1,600 on both Dynamism and Pro Vantage, who are taking pre-orders for the U300s.
Acer’s Aspire S3 3951 will start lower – at $899.99, which is an unexpectedly low price, since the ultrabooks were previously rumoured to start at around $1,000. The Acer S3 has the i5-2467 chip, but we have no info no other specs. (Update: It’s on pre-sale now in the form of the Acer Aspire S3-951-6646.)
The US street prices for the Asus UX21 and UX31, and Toshiba Portege Z380, are still unknown. According to a recent leak, the 11.6″ UX21 with 64GB SSD will start at $799 Euros or around 1,083 US dollars, while the 13.3″ UX31 with a 128GB SSD will start at 999 Euros or $1,354. Toshiba’s first ultrabook was said to start at below $1,000.
