Power Quotient International (PQI) has announced the 2.5-inch 256GB SSD Turbo+ solid state drive, which is the product with the largest storage capacity in this class.
The PQI 256GB SSD Turbo+ has Serial ATA interface and data transfer rates of up to 60MB/sec. It can be a replacement for a standard notebook hard drive, offering shock resistance, high stability and low power consumption. The SSDs also have longer average data storage time of 10 years and faster seek times compared to traditional hard drive read / write heads, according to PQI.
The computer memory maker also introduced its laptop-use 32GB PCI-E SSD, dedicated to notebooks in the form of a removable storage medium.
Currently, there is no information on pricing and availability of these products.
