Samsung has just officially unveiled the long awaited Galaxy Tab, the company’s first tablet device.
The specs are listed in our Galaxy Tab overview, but it appears that the tablet will feature 32GB of storage, up from 16GB. The battery life is more than 8 hours, according to Samsung’s representatives. The tablet will be available in Europe in early October, and will be sold through mobile operators. There’s no info on availability of an unlocked Tab – it will not be available initially for sure.
Updates:
The default color of the device is white, but will be also available in other colors.
Will be available in several different sizes next year.
It has its own e-reader app, but, depending on mobile operator, it can have a different default ereader, such as Kindle.
The Tab offers its own Readers Hub, Media Hub, and Music Hub.
Pen is one of the accessories for the Tab.
