Samsung NC10-14GWThe 10.2-inch Samsung NC10, the company’s first netbook computer, is now available in the United States.

For $500, NewEgg and Buy.com offer the 2.8-pound NC10-14GW model that includes the Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, Intel’s integrated graphics, a 160GB hard drive, 6-cell battery, 1024×600 display, and Windows XP operating system.

The Samsung NC10-14GW also includes a 1.3-megapixel web camera, 802.11b/g wireless, Bluetooth, an Etnernet LAN connector, three USB ports, 3-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output.

According to the product page at Buy.com, the netbook provides up to 8 hours of battery life.

The NC10-14GW has a white chassis. A blue model with the same specifications and price - the NC10-14GB - is also expected to hit the U.S. market.
