The Samsung R480, R580, and R780 mainstream consumer laptops are available now for purchase.
Featuring 14-inch, 15.6-inch, and 17.3-inch LED-backlit displays, the offered NP-R480-JAB1US, NP-R580-JSB1US, and NP-R780-JS01US are based on the Intel Core i3 or core i5 processors, depending on model. The notebooks come with Intel integrated, or Nvidia GeForce dedicated graphics, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of hard disk space, and Blu-ray Combo drives, except the N780 with a DVD burner.
Samsung’s new laptops also include a built-in web camera, stereo speakers, HDMI output, and 802.11n WiFi.
The notebooks have “Touch of Color” gradation finish combining red and black colors and run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.
Available at Best Buy, the R480-JAB1US, R580-JSB1US, and R780-JS01US are priced at $730, $830 and $800, respectively.
