Samsung R610-64GThe Samsung R610 desktop replacement (DTR) laptop with a 16-inch display is now available in the US.

Along with the screen that has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 1366×768 resolution, the R610-64G model offered by NewEgg features the Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 processor at 2GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS 512MB graphics, 3GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and a DVD burner.

The laptop also includes 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and modem connections, HDMI and VGA outputs, four USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and 3-in-1 media card reader. A web camera is not listed in the notebook’s specifications, but its images show it has one.

With a standard 6-cell battery, the Samsung R610-64G weighs 6.1-pounds.

It runs Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and costs $949.99 after instant savings.
