Sony has unveiled at the ongoing 2010 CES Show three new laptops: the VAIO F multimedia notebook, and VAIO Y and Z series ultraportables.
The VAIO F features a 16.4-inch display, an Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce dedicated graphics card, optional Blu-ray optical drive, and Windows Home Premium OS. The VAIO F Series will starts at around $1,000 and is available for pre-orders at Sony’s official website.
The 13.3-inch Sony VAIO Y has a 1.2-inch thin profile and includes Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor options and up to 8GB of RAM. The VAIO Y Series starts at $800 at Sony.
Finally, the new Sony VAIO Z has a 13.1″ dipslay, the new Core i5 CPU, up to 512GB of solid state drive storage, a switchable graphics solution, optional 3G mobile broadband connectivity, optional Blu-Ray player, Windows 7 Pro, a carbon-fiber aluminum chassis, and a price tag of around $1,900. It will be available in late spring, according to Sony.
