Sony released today the VAIO W Series 10.1-inch netbook.
Along with a 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, the Sony VAIO W features Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive with Windows XP pre-installed and a 3- or 6-cell battery.
The netbook also sports a built-in web camera and microphone, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet LAN, as well as two USB ports, a Memory Stick / SD Card reader, and a VGA output.
The VAIO W comes in three colors – berry pink, sugar white and cocoa brown.
It will retail for about $500 at Sony Style stores and at other retailers starting next month.
