The Asus L402SA-WH02-OFCE is a 14-inch lightweight Windows laptop with an extremely cheap price of around $200. Yes, it is a quite slow notebook by today’s PC standards, but many users might find it satisfactory fast for the daily computing chores. Plus, with this laptop you get a free 1-year Microsoft Office 365 subscription.

The Asus L402SA-WH02-OFCE is portable and travel-friendly with its weight of 3.6 pounds. Its 0.9″ thick chassis with blue plastic finish carries a standard budget-class 1366-by-768-pixel TN 14″ display, and a full-size keyboard and a spacious trackpad.

Under the hood, there are the basic Intel Celeron N3060 dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM memory, and 32GB of eMMC-based data storage space. The Celeron N3060 is one of the slowest processors on the laptop market. However, our review of the Celeron N series shows it can handle the usual home and office tasks without major slowdowns. 4GB of system memory in the Asus L402SA-WH02-OFCE is double the size of those in similarly priced laptops. While 2GB isn’t enough for comfortable multi-tasking, 4GB is capacious enough for running a few web browser tabs and apps at the same time. As for data storage space, the built-in 32GB eMMC drive is very limited. Especially given that Windows 10 takes up around half of that space. Luckily, you can insert an SD media card in the provided card reader to expand the storage space.

The notebook’s battery capacity of 32 WHr is a common one for a 200-dollar laptop. The claimed battery life is up to six hours.
