Asus X551MA (X551MAV-EB01-B/S) Cheap 15.6″ Laptop (Intel Celeron, 4 GB, 500GB HDD, Black)
Although laptop shoppers may be unfamiliar with the Asus X551MAV-EB01-B(S) notebook, it’s actually a very popular model.
The budget-oriented 15.6-incher has the common 1366-by-768 screen resolution. The 4.7-pound laptop with a 1.2″ thick black plastic chassis has a full-size keyboard with chiclet-style keys and a spacious trackpad. Computing relies on the low-end Intel Celeron N2830 dual-core “Bay Trail” processor we reviewed here. It will serve you well for the daily web, productivity, and multimedia playback chores, but you can’t throw at it a heavy duty like video editing or converting and expect quick task completion. 4GB of RAM is capacious enough for the great majority of users. The included 500GB hard drive at 5,400rpm offers a standard capacity and storage speed, meaning it provides a decent amount of space for files and programs and also slow read / write speeds. The HDD comes with old Windows 8.1 pre-loadeed, which you can upgrade to the latest Windows 10 for free.
The Asus X551MA X551MAV-EB01-B(S) doesn’t have a built-in DVD burner optical drive and has two USB ports (1 x USB 3.0 + 1 x USB 2.0) instead of usual three. The machine includes stereo speakers, a webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless, Ethernet LAN port, HDMI video out, an SD card reader, and a combo audio port.
The battery life on this model can last up to six hours, according to its specs sheet.

It’s hard to find info on this old laptop model. The only thing I found is this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMa-Xs1i1No
In the comment section they say the laptop has a single RAM slot in which you can physically put 8GB, but the laptop’s BIOS doesn’t support more than 4GB. So you can’t utilize more than 4GB.
Also, if your Windows version is 32-bit, it can’t recognize more than 4GB anyway.
