Interested in buying the 7558 dell inspiron for djing. I will be running a serato program and want to make sure this computer will be compatible and won’t crash while I’m on the program..

I’ve never used Serato, but Traktor and Virtual DJ worked for me with no problems on much slower laptop processors, like Intel Pentium. The i7 CPU used in this notebook can certainly handle Serato easily, so I assume you’ll have no problems.

I am interested in buying this laptop. I would like to know if I can add a 2nd – 2.5 inch SSD as a boot drive and still keep the 1 TB HDD for data.

This laptop has a single 2.5″ storage bay, so you can have only one 2.5″ drive inside.

Hey, I’m looking to buy a new laptop. I’m a student and will be doing HW and using softwares like AutoCAD, SolidWorks ’15, Lightroom 6, MATLAB, etc. What do you suggest between these two:
1.) Dell Inspiron 13 7352 2-in-1
-i5 5200u
-500GB
-8GB RAM
-intel hd 5500 graphics
– vivid colors than the 2nd option
-3.67 lbs
2.) Dell Inspiron 15 7558 2-in-1
-i5 5200u
-500GB
-8GB RAM
-intel hd 5500 graphics
-4.8 lbs
Built quality almost looks the same. The exterior materials used also look similar

Your choice depends on the screen size, dimensions and weight, since the components and design are the same. For the programs you mentioned the 15.6-inch 7558 appears to be more suitable. The 7352 is 13.3″. By the way, 7352 for sure has aluminum palmrest, while on the 7558 it looks like plastics.
