HP Pavilion 13-s128nr x360 13.3″ Full-HD 2-in-1 Laptop (Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD)
The HP Pavilion 13-s128nr x360 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with an affordable price tag of below $450. It has a 13.3-inch multi-touch display than can flip 360-degrees and transform into a tablet or multimedia / presentation device.
As opposed to the higher-end HP Spectre X360 2-in-1 with the same screen size, the mainstream Pavilion X360 13 series doesn’t have an aluminum chassis with ultra-slim profile nor keyboard backlight. Nevertheless, the 0.9″ thick 3.8-pound Pavilion 13-s128nr x360 made of plastics is a well equipped PC with excellent performance. First of all, it sports a sharp Full HD 1920×1080 display resolution and IPS-powered wide viewing angles. Furthermore, the included Intel Core i5-6200U dual-core processor from the latest 6th Gen Skylake CPU family is a solid solution for those who want to use the device for the daily chores and occasionally heavier computing. With 8GB of system memory, the 13-s128nr offers a plenty of multitasking headroom for the average user. The included 128GB solid state drive doesn’t offer much storage space, but it speeds up responsiveness greatly in comparison to the traditional hard drives.
The 2-in-1 laptop has stereo speakers optimized by Bang & Olufsen, a 720p webcam, 802.11AC wireless, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth connections, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 connectors, HDMI video output port, an SD media card slot, and a combo microphone / headphones connector.
Hewlett-Packard boldly claims the battery life on this model can last “up to 11 hours and 45 minutes”. Whether this estimation is too optimistic or not, the battery capacity of 45 WHr is quite decent for this type of a convertible laptop.

Yes it can, but storage in this model is “Authorized Service Provider only component” and should only be accessed by an authorized service provider. Accessing these components can damage the computer or void the warranty, according to HP’s maintenance manual. According to the manual, the HP Pavilion 13-s128nr supports M.2 SSD storage, besides the standard 2.5″ HDDs / SSDs. I assume they actually used a 128GB M.2 SSD it this laptop.
